On 7th February 2024, the Surya Ratna National Lifetime Achievement Award was conferred to Mr. Nitin Desai for excellence in the field of corporate world and CSR Initiatives, by Suryadatta Education Foundation’s Suryadatta Group of Institutes, Pune.
Honorary Doctor of Letters, Honoris Casa was honored to Mr. Nitin Desai by Ajinkya D. Y. Patil University in January 2023.
On 19th January 2024, Rotary International District 3131 awarded the ‘Rotary CSR Award 2023’ to DBL for “Distinguished Service in Health Care”, Mega cataract surgeries project. (10500 Cataract surgeries, 150 Glaucoma surgeries & 100 Cornia Transplant). Award received by Mr. Nitin Desai, Mr. Parvez Bilimoria and Dr. Chandrakant Rawal Mr. Michael K. On 1st March 2023, Mr. Nitin Desai was conferred, the prestigious ‘Punyabhushan Award’ by the Punyabhushan Foundation for his outstanding contribution to the betterment of the underprivileged people of society.
Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture (MCCIA) honoured Mr. Nitin Desai for his contribution under Corporate Social Responsibility by B.G.Deshmukh Award on 11th March 2022.
In July 2020, Mr. Nitin Desai and Mrs. Meena Desai were honored with Rotary International’s highest distinction, the Arch Klumph Society. Named after Rotary’s sixth president, this society recognizes the most generous donors – those who have contributed more than $250,000 to Rotary throughout their lifetime. Membership in the Arch Klumph Society is lifelong, and each member has the opportunity to have their portrait displayed in the Society Gallery at Rotary’s headquarters in Evanston, Illinois, USA.
In recognition of Mr. Nitin Desai’s noteworthy contributions in business and social work, he was conferred the Pune’s Pride Lifetime Achievement Award on 7th January 2020, by Janseva Foundation.

On 16th July 2009 at Patna, Mr. Nitin Desai was felicitated by Hon’ble Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam in appreciation of his support to VISION 2020 : The Right to Sight – INDIA.
In appreciation of Mr. Nitin Desai’s multifarious achievements and noteworthy contribution in the field of business and social work, the Poona Merchants Chambers presented him with the “Adarsh Vayapari – Uttam Puraskar” in 2004.
